Possibly the greatest treat you could get growing up in New Orleans was the quintessential petit four from McKenzie's bakery. This delectable and bite sized treat for the kiddos has awed both kids and adults alike for decades. Of course we had to turn it into a beer.

Methinks this lightly fruited wheat beer with a touch of almond extract to achieve that classic Nola frosted cake flavor would be the perfect summer sipper, but here we are in winter consuming it like we always have with petit fours: all year long.
