Ode to Polly, Belgian Dubbel with Steen's Molasses

A higher abv Belgian Dubbel with the classic and local Steens molasses we all love. This beer is an ode to Polly Watts of Avenue Pub. One of the great progenitors of Belgian and craft beer in New Orleans. My first Belgian beer was at the Avenue Pub, and I still remember the sensation of having my mind blown as to what beer could be. This beer has a lovely earthiness and pepperiness with a nice sweetness that quickly dries off the palate.
