AMERICAN WHEAT
Red beans, gumbo, chargrilled oysters, ettoufee. What’s served right there, just waiting to be dipped in delicious goodness? That Leidenheimer Zip Bread. It’s the perfect accompaniment to NOLA cuisine even when not used as a fried seafood vessel.
I tried to make a beer that would achieve the same goal - a wheat beer that is easy-drinking and goes well with all food. It’s crisp and clean as it’s made with a lager yeast and has very low bitterness and a dry finish.
Right now it’s drinking really really clean. Kinda like a hefty high life. Come get a half liter and a pizza pie and you will be set.
